Statement of Policy

HomiLoom respects intellectual property rights and complies fully with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. We provide the following process for copyright holders to report infringing content and for users to respond.

Our Rights

We may:

  • Take down or disable access to allegedly infringing material;

  • Inform the user who posted the content;

  • Suspend services for repeat infringers.

Step 1: Submitting a DMCA Notice

To report copyright infringement, please provide a written notice containing:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright holder or authorized agent.

  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.

  • Identification of the infringing material and its location on our services.

  • A statement declaring your good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized.

  • Contact details including full name, address, phone number, and email.

  • A sworn statement that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Step 2: Actions Taken by HomiLoom

Upon receipt of a complete notice, we may:

  • Remove or disable access to the infringing content;

  • Notify the user responsible;

  • Enforce penalties against repeat violations.

Step 3: Submitting a Counter-Notice

If you believe your material was wrongfully removed, you may send a Counter-Notice including:

  • Your signature (physical or electronic).

  • Identification of the material removed and its previous location.

  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the removal was due to error or misidentification.

  • Your contact details (name, address, phone number, email).

  • A statement of consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant federal court, and agreement to accept service of process from the complainant.

Step 4: Restoration of Content

If a valid Counter-Notice is received, we may forward it to the complainant. Unless they file legal action, the removed material may be reinstated within 10–14 business days, at our discretion.
